Choi Kwang Do is a revolutionary and unique martial arts program that promotes optimum health, self-defense and personal development. Students of all ages and backgrounds can train and succeed because the curriculum focuses on individual learning and not physical competition.

 

Choi Kwang Do emphasizes self-defense techniques that are easy to learn and generate maximum force with little effort making it practical for real life situations while complying with the Criminal Code of Canada. Choi Kwang Do enhances an individual's physical health, mental confidence and physical conditioning by using the most recent sports medicine research.

 

Classes consist of a comprehensive system of stretches, bio-mechanically friendly technical instruction, interval-training with self defense techniques and cool down. Children’s classes focus on optimal learning based on developmental stages and strive to instill a life long commitment to healthy and active living while learning the principles of respect, discipline and positive character.
